The view is to the SSW across the side yard. The road is lightly traveled and goes across a bridge and out to a small residential island just out of view on the right. Beyond the road is a portion of the Lemonweir River called Lake Decorah, and you'll note Goat Island straight ahead. At the horizon is the downtown area of our small town. On a clear day you can see Mile Bluff peeking above the horizon on the left and at night you'll see the lights of a communications tower. Mile Bluff is oh .... about a mile out of town.
